Dark Shadows: The Salem Branch by Lara Parker

America

On October 4, 1985, the day that the fifth season of Falcon Crest began on CBS, David appeared on the syndicated talk show America, hosted by Sarah Purcell (of Real People fame) and McLean Stevenson (of M*A*S*H fame).

The segment included a videotaped piece on Falcon Crest's Napa Valley location shoot, the interview with David, and a clip from Falcon Crest featuring David as Richard Channing with Morgan Fairchild as Jordan Roberts.

The entire segment is available below in three parts. The divisions had to be made in order to comply with TopCities' file size limitations when this portion of the site was located there. The clips were made from video footage provided by NancyMck. Please be aware that the quality of the source tape is lacking, so the picture and sound quality of the clips is not the greatest.

  • Part One - Videotaped segment featuring clips of the actors filming on location in the Napa Valley and spending some time off the set bowling. The first actor you'll see bowling is David. - 02:33.7
