In 1982, David Selby portrayed Michael Tyrone on the NBC series Flamingo Road. When it became apparent that the series would be canceled, David's character's storyline took a decidedly Dark Shadows turn in a plot that involved voodoo. Sound familiar? David discussed the connection between the two shows at the 2002 Dark Shadows Festival. A video clip is available in the Audio/Video Clips section of the site.

The series ran for two seasons. David joined the cast during the second season.

Flamingo Road began airing on the GoodLife cable network on Monday nights at 10:00pm ET starting June 2, 2003. For additional information about the network, including a information about requesting it from your satellite or cable provider, visit the GoodLife web site.

Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot of information about Flamingo Road available on the Internet.
