In January 2005, Shadow of Fear was released on DVD. It was filmed in 2003. The movie stars James Spader, Matt Davis, and Peter Coyote. When Harrison French (Matt Davis) accidentally kills someone, he turns to powerful attorney William Ashbury (James Spader) for help, but French finds himself drawn into an elaborate blackmail scheme. David Selby appears in the film as Steve Palmer. Through Palmer, we see the extent to which Ashbury holds power over those he claims to help.
