On January 22, 1977, John Karlen (Willie Loomis) appeared in an episode of All in the Family entitled "Mike Goes Skiing." Karlen plays Leo, who invites Mike and his friends to his uncle's ski lodge, but Gloria already has plans to attend an engagement party, so Mike tricks her into letting him go.
