David Selby has issued a limited-edition 176-page book, entitled In and Out of the Shadows. The book includes never-before-seen photos from his childhood through the present, including many rare Dark Shadows pictures, as well as photos from his appearances on stage and in film.  You can preview photos from the book on the MPI site.   You can view clips of David reading selections from In and Out of the Shadows at the 1999 Dark Shadows Festival in the Audio/Video Clips portion of the site. Television advertisements for In and Out of the Shadows aired in the fall of 1999 during Dark Shadows on the Sci-Fi Channel. Click here to hear the audio in WAV format. A Real Audio version is also available. It is a smaller file and will load faster.
