The 2005 Dark Shadows Hollywood Weekend was held at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in California on July 29-31.

David Selby was available to sign autographs on all three days. A new version of In and Out of the Shadows debuted during the event. It features additional color photos and a new poem not available in the previous edition.

On Saturday, David participated in a performance of Vengeance at Collinwood, a new radio-style drama written by his son, Jamison Selby. The story centers on the return of Anthony Peterson, portrayed by Jerry Lacy. Nancy Barrett, John Karlen, Lara Parker, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and Marie Wallace also participated. Sound effects were provided by Tony Palermo.

On Sunday, following a cabaret performance by Nancy Barrett, the Dark Shadows cast members in attendance took the stage for a Q & A session with the audience.
