The Shot

In 1993, David Selby appeared in The Shot, a New York University short film. David plays Gordon Sunshine, a popular musician who mysteriously went into a life of seclusion some years ago. When Marvin, a photographer played by Peter Allas, finds and enters his home under false pretenses in order to snap a much coveted shot of Sunshine, the musician winds up explaining what drove him to drop out of the spotlight, and the two appear to have reached an understanding, but appearances are deceiving, and Marvin ends up ambushing Sunshine with his camera anyway.

The screen grabs and audio clip below were taken from videotape footage provided by PatrickM of the Central Florida Dark Shadows Fan Club.
